Creating an event on FotoOwl takes just minutes. Start by opening the event setup form and entering a unique, recognizable event name that guests will see across all shared links. Next, define your event's start and end dates to control exactly when photo sharing is active. Once saved, your event appears instantly on your dashboard — ready for full configuration, guest access, and photo management.

Steps

Create an Event

From your dashboard, click the Create Event button to open the event setup form.

Enter the Event Name

Type a name for your event (e.g. Shantanu Weds Swati). This name will be visible to your guests throughout the experience.

Set the Start and End Dates

Select your event's start and end dates using the date picker. Both fields are required before you can proceed.

Fill Basic Details

Enter the event name, date, and event type fields.

Tip
Keep the event name short and specific so guests can find it quickly.

Save Event

Click Save Event to create the event and continue to configuration. You should now see your new event in the dashboard.

Warning
Confirm date and timezone before saving because guests will see these details in shared links.
