Step 1 of 5 · Create a Beam login in your dashboard

5 steps

Step by step, screen by screen.

  1. Step 1

Create a Beam login in your dashboard

In the FotoOwl dashboard, open Beam and click Add Secure FTP User. Pick a username and password and link the event the photos should go to.

  2. Step 2

    Keep the server details open

Beam now shows the SFTP server details: host inftp.fotoowl.ai, port 8022, plus your username and password. You'll type these into the camera.

  3. Step 3

    Open a new SFTP connection

In Cyberduck (or any FTP app), click Open Connection, choose SFTP and enter inftp.fotoowl.ai, port 8022, your username and password.

  4. Step 4

    Drag photos in

Click Upload or drag a folder of JPEGs into the window. The whole batch uploads in one go.

  5. Step 5

Shoot — photos land in your event

Every new JPEG uploads in about 5 seconds and appears in your event. Only you see it until you publish the event — then guests find their photos by selfie.

Watch it on a real laptop.
