How do parents get photos of their child?
The school shares one link or QR code. A parent opens it in the phone's browser, searches with a clear, front-facing photo of their child, and AI Gallery shows every photo their child appears in. No app is needed.
Can parents see other children's photos?
Not on Guest Access: each parent sees only the photos their child's face matches. A group or class photo appears for every child matched in it. Share Full Access only with staff who need every photo.
How do we share photos from many events in a year?
Create a FotoOwl event for each occasion and add them to One QR. Parents scan one QR code and see every event of the year on one page, then search for their child in each one. You can also embed galleries on the school website.
What privacy controls does the school get?
Nothing is visible until you publish. Each link has a PIN, you choose the registration fields parents fill in, bulk and single downloads are separate switches, and the gallery closes on the expiry date you set. FotoOwl is ISO 27001:2022 certified and GDPR compliant.
Can the gallery carry the school's branding?
Yes. Set a theme, the school colours, title font, cover image and logo, add a watermark, and use Marquee Frames to put the event name and crest on downloaded photos.
Can school photographers sell photos to parents?
Yes. Turn on Photo Selling for the event and set your price. Families buy their photos inside the gallery and download the originals, with payouts to your bank account.
